The Alzheimer's Association International Research Grant Program funds investigations that advance our understanding of Alzheimer's disease, help identify new treatment strategies, provide information to improve care for people with dementia, and further our knowledge of brain health and disease prevention. Our awards support investigators at every professional stage and always include categories specifically designed to help talented young scientists establish careers in Alzheimer's research.

Wipe Out Kids’ Cancer, Inc.
Wipe Out Kids’ Cancer, Inc. (WOKC) is a nonprofit organization dedicated to raising awareness and funding pediatric cancer research.
WOKC provides grants to support meritorious research ranging from basic laboratory investigation to clinical management of pediatric cancers. For all awarded grants, collaboration with a pediatric cancer treatment center and an institution with basic and/or clinical research programs are encouraged.

    The Alzheimer's Drug Discovery Foundation (ADDF) funds drug discovery and development research programs in the field of Alzheimer's disease (AD), related dementias and cognitive aging. The ADDF seeks to fill the critical translational funding gap between basic research and later stage drug development by funding promising drug discovery and development programs. In addition to funding academic programs, the ADDF also invests in and creates early stage biotechnology companies. The ADDF also co-sponsors conferences to stimulate new ideas and approaches in areas of interest to the Foundation.

    COMISSIO EUROPEA
    Aquesta acció està dirigida a recolzar el desenvolupament professional o la represa de la carrera d’investigadors experimentats a qualsevol punt de la seva carrera, i pretén millorar les seves competències individuals a nivell interdisciplinar i mitjançant experiències intersectorials. L’objectiu és donar suport als investigadors per tal de què aconsegueixin una posició de lideratge independent (Ex. IP, investigador sènior, etc.). Aquesta acció també permet als investigadors retornar a la recerca després d’un període de pausa.

    COMISSIO EUROPEA
    Reforçar l’excel·lència científica dels estats membres i països associats mitjançant el coneixement compartit d’investigadors d’excel·lència provinents de països tercers que es podran incorporar a centres i projectes de recerca europeus. La idea és poder desenvolupar relacions entre Europa i països tercers en benefici mutu que donin com a resultat futures col·laboracions científiques.
    L'objectiu de l'acció és atraure investigadors experimentats de primera categoria des de tercers països per a què treballin i investiguin a Europa durant 1 o 2 anys (fase d'arribada).
    En cas que l'investigador hagi estat actiu en un país ICPC (International Cooperation Partner Countries), existeix la possibilitat de demanar una fase de retorn d'un any que ajudi a tornar-se a establir en aquest país.

    COMISSIO EUROPEA
    Reforçar la dimensió internacional de les carreres dels investigadors europeus oferint la possibilitat de formar-se en un centre de recerca d’excel·lència en un tercer país.
