Objectiu de la convocatòria
The Prostate Cancer Foundation (www.pcf.org) champions human capital investment to fast-forward solutions to prostate cancer.

These awards support large-scale research projects from teams of at least 3 highly experienced investigators capable of providing unique scientific expertise to the solution of a significant problem in prostate cancer research. The team may be assembled from one institution or several institutions from across the globe, and must embed a young investigator as an integral contributor to the team.

The 2013 PCF Challenge Awards focus on funding Treatment Sciences: Investigations of new ideas in man or laboratory support of a high-impact clinical investigation with a high probability of near-term patient benefit.

  • Research proposal no gretar than 10 pages
  • 2 letters of support, from the applicant's Mentor and the applicant's Departamental Chairperson or Cancer Center Director
  • Letter from the applicant's Departamental Chairperson demosntrating "matching in-kind support"
  • The applicant's NIH short form CV
    • AVÍS IMPORTANT
    The documentation required is a letter from the Cancer Center Director or Departmental Chairperson which confirms institutional commitment to the career development of the PCF Young Investigator while under the direct supervision of a Mentor. Mentorship is required for every PCF Young Investigator applicant and grantee.
