The EFSD/Sanofi European Diabetes Research Programme in diabetes associated with cardiovascular disease encourages new projects aimed at advancing current knowledge in this field. |

Característiques principals
The EFSD/Sanofi European Diabetes Research Programme in diabetes associated with cardiovascular disease is intended to stimulate and accelerate European research aimed at improving understanding of cardiovascular disease associated with diabetes. Grants are offered for basic and clinical studies. Translational studies are especially welcome. |

Requisits
Applications for an EFSD grant are invited from single non-profit institutions or groups of such institutions from Europe or associated countries (for detailed country list, please see below). The principal investigator and any co-investigators must be normally employed at a non-profit institution and the study must be performed at their place of work in Europe or an associated country. Dotació
€ 100,000 Studies forming part of a larger project will be considered for funding but this will need to be well justified in the application. |

Durada
The duration of each award may be one year or longer, depending upon the needs of the project and as justified in the application. |
