    SIMONS FOUNDATION
    The mission of the Simons Foundation Autism Research Initiative (SFARI) is to improve the understanding, diagnosis and treatment of autism spectrum disorders (ASD) by funding innovative research of the highest quality and relevance.
    SFARI Awards sollicit applications from individuals who will conduct bold, imaginative, rigorous and relevant research biomedical research.
    The goal of the Pilot Award is to provide early support for exploratory ideas, particularly those with novel hypotheses. Appropriate projects for this mechanism include those considered higher risk but with the potential for transformative results.
    In particular, we encourage applications that propose research to link genetic or other ASD risk factors to molecular, cellular, circuit or behavioral mechanisms of ASD.

    FEHH - FUNDACION ESPAÑOLA DE HEMATOLOGIA Y HEMOTERAPIA
    Convocar un programa de 10 beques per gaudir l'any 2020: 7 de la FEHH i 2 d'una col·laboració FEHH/Janssen. Les beques van dirigides a socis de la Societat Espanyola d'Hematologia i Hemoteràpia que vulguin realitzar un projecte d'investigació en un centre espanyol, en l'àmbit de les àrees que conformen l'especialitat d'Hematologia i Hemoteràpia.
    Seguint l'esperit integrador de la FEHH, cada any una de les beques estarà destinada prioritàriament a alguna àrea concreta de l'hematologia. A la present convocatòria s'ha designat per una de les 9 beques l'àrea d'Hematologia clínica. A més, les 2 beques de col·laboració FEHH/Janssen quedaran circumscrites l'àrea d'hemopaties malignes, donant prioritat a mieloma múltiple i síndromes limfoproliferatives cròniques.

    AJUNTAMENT DE BARCELONA-FUNDACIÓ LA CAIXA
    L’objecte de la present convocatòria, mitjançant concurrència competitiva, és la concessió de subvencions a projectes de recerca i innovació dins de les subvencions de l’Institut de Cultura de Barcelona a Projectes de Recerca i Innovació del Pla Barcelona Ciència 2019, d’acord amb el que estableixen les seves Bases.
    Els projectes han de ser originals i tenir per objecte un dels dos àmbits temàtics següents, relacionats amb l’evolució sostenible de la ciutat de Barcelona:
    a) l’envelliment i la qualitat de vida,
    b) la mobilitat i el respecte i protecció del medi ambient.
    En el tractament dels temes científics i el desenvolupament dels projectes, els investigadors hauran de contemplar la dimensió de gènere.

    FUNDACIÓN CASER
    L'objecte de la convocatòria és el suport econòmic, mitjançant la signatura d'un conveni de col·laboració, a la realització de projectes de recerca en els aspectes anteriorment assenyalats, que puguin desenvolupar-se de manera efectiva en un any.
    Els projectes d'investigació presentats han de referir a l'àrea sociosanitària en temàtiques de dependència, atenció integrada i atenció centrada en la persona, primant els projectes innovadors que augmentin l'efectivitat i eficiència en atenció sociosanitària, i que siguin de fàcil rèplica en altres llocs.
    Per complir aquests objectius, la Fundació Caser donarà suport a través d'aquesta convocatòria investigacions vinculades als següents grups d'interès:
    • Persones amb malaltia crònica.
    • Persones amb dependència funcional.
    • Persones en cures pal·liatives.
    • Persones amb discapacitat.
    • Persones en situació d'exclusió o discriminació.

    The goal of the PRCRP is to improve mission readiness and quality of life by decreasing the burden of cancer on Service members, their families, and the American public. The PRCRP is charged by Congress with the mission to investigate cancer risks and knowledge gaps that may be relevant to active duty Service members, their families, other military beneficiaries, and the American public.

    AVHF - ALEXANDER VON HUMBOLDT FOUNDATION
    The Alexander von Humboldt Foundation’s Sofja Kovalevskaja Award is granted to young exceptionally promising researchers from abroad in recognition of outstanding academic achievements. The award is designed to enable them to embark on academic careers in Germany by establishing their own junior research groups at research institutions in Germany.
    The programme is open to scientists and scholars from all countries and disciplines who completed their doctorates with distinction less than six years ago. The Alexander von Humboldt Foundation particularly welcomes applications from qualified, female junior researchers.

    HUMAN FRONTIER SCIENCE PROGRAMME
    HFSP postdoctoral fellowships encourage early career scientists to broaden their research skills by moving into new areas of study while working in a new country. The HFSP fellowship program strongly supports frontier, potentially transformative (‘out-of-the-box’) proposals and encourages applications for high-risk projects. The projects should be interdisciplinary in nature and should challenge existing paradigms by using novel approaches and techniques. Scientifically, they should address an important problem or a barrier to progress in the field.

    HFSP fellowships are for three years. Fellows may choose to stay for up to three years in the host country or use the last year of their fellowship to return to their home country or to move to another HFSPO member country.

    Long-Term Fellowships (LTF) are for applicants with a Ph.D. in a biological discipline, who will broaden their expertise by proposing a project in the life sciences which is significantly different from their previous Ph.D. or postdoctoral work.

    Cross-Disciplinary Fellowships (CDF) are for applicants with a Ph.D. from outside the life sciences (e.g. in physics, chemistry, mathematics, engineering or computer sciences), who have not worked in biological fields before.
