INNOVATIVE MEDICINES INITIATIVE
IMI is a partnership between the European Union and the European pharmaceutical industry, represented by the European Federation of Pharmaceutical Industries and Associations (EFPIA).
The goal of the Innovative Medicines Initiative 2 (IMI 2) is to develop next generation vaccines, medicines and treatments, such as new antibiotics. It will build on the successes and lessons learnt under IMI. Like IMI, it will bring together companies, universities, public laboratories, innovative small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs), patient groups and regulators in collaborative projects that will pave the way for breakthrough vaccines, medicines and treatments to tackle Europe’s growing health challenges, and secure the future international competitiveness of Europe’s pharmaceutical industry.

THE SUSAN G. KOMEN BREAST CANCER FOUNDATION
The Susan G. Komen® Tissue Bank at the IU Simon Cancer Center (Komen Tissue Bank, or KTB) is the first and only biorepository in the world containing breast tissue and blood products from donors that show no evidence of breast cancer at the time of donation.

    The Research Infrastructure Voucher Call invites non-HBP researchers to apply for a voucher to secure HBP engineering solutions for their challenging research problems. The vouchers fund the work of the HBP research infrastructure engineering teams to implement feature requests of the voucher winners. While benefiting from tailor-made developments and solutions, voucher winners will not receive any direct funding for their work from the HBP. The vouchers do not fund the work of the external voucher winners.

    AGAUR - AGENCIA DE GESTIO AJUTS UNIVERSITARIS DE RECERCA
    Aquestes bases reguladores tenen per objecte regular la concessió d'ajuts per finançar projectes de transferència dels resultats de la recerca.
    Els projectes han d'estar destinats a la realització d'activitats conduents a la creació d'una spin-off o l'explotació de llicències o qualsevol altra forma de protecció de propietat intel·lectual i industrial d'una tecnologia o coneixement, així com les activitats de caràcter demostratiu necessàries per a la seva validació.
    Addicionalment, s'hauran de dur a terme activitats que permetin identificar altres tecnologies o coneixements potencialment transferibles.
    Per al desenvolupament d'aquests projectes, la universitat o el centre de recerca beneficiari ha de contractar una persona emprenedora que s'hi incorporarà per un període de 18 mesos explícitament per desenvolupar el projecte.
