COMISSIÓ EUROPEA
SUSFOOD is an ERA-Net, a network of 25 partners from 16 European countries. The aim of SUSFOOD is to increase collaboration and coordination between national research activities on sustainable food production and consumption.
The scope of SUSFOOD includes the entire food supply chain with the main focus on food chain sustainability beyond the farm gate. The farm level will be considered if it has direct impact on the sustainability of the other steps in the food chain.

ERA-NET - Network of European Funding for Neuroscience Research (NEURON)
The aim of the call is to facilitate multi-national, collaborative research projects that will address important questions relating to neuroinflammation.
The call will accept proposals ranging from understanding basic mechanisms of disease through proof-of-concept clinical studies in humans. These may include research on the role of inflammation in neurological or psychiatric disorders, or associated with traumatic brain injury, pathogen infection or toxicity in the nervous system. Research dealing primarily with cerebrovascular or neurodegenerative diseases without specifically focussing on the neuroinflammation aspect will not be eligible for this call.

  • Oncologia. Limitada a projectes relacionats amb el càncer de colon, càncer de mama i càncer de pulmó.
  • Trasplantament d'òrgans.
  • Traumatologia i seqüeles, incloses les neurològiques derivades d'un traumatisme.
  • Malalties rares. Limitada a les quals es manifesten clínicament durant la infància.
    Els projectes que es presentin a aquesta convocatòria haurien de ser exclusivament treballs d'investigació clínica

    FULBRIGHT ESPAÑA
    La Comissió d'Intercanvi Cultural, Educatiu i Científic entre Espanya i els Estats Units anuncia la convocatòria de fins a un màxim de 25 beques per a cursar estudis de postgrau en universitats d'Estats Units en qualsevol disciplina.
    Les beques Fulbright estan destinades a titulats superiors, enginyers i arquitectes que estiguin interessats a fer màsters, programes de PhD o, excepcionalment, projectes d'investigació predoctoral.
    Les beques es concedeixen per un curs escolar o per dotze mesos. Les renovacions per a un segon curs o per a altres dotze mesos com a màxim, dependran de l'objectiu de titulació del becari, del seu rendiment acadèmic i de la disponibilitat de pressupost de la Comissió.
    Els becaris acceptats en programes de doctorat conten amb el suport institucional del Programa Fulbright durant un període de cinc anys consecutius.

    The Joint Programming of the European Union aims to pool national research efforts in order to make better use of Europe’s public R&D resources and to tackle common European challenges more effectively.
    The primary aim of this first joint call of JPIAMR is to combine the resources, infrastructures, and research strengths of multiple countries in order to overcome antibiotic resistance. The goal is to foster multinational translational research collaborations that can accomplish more than individual countries working independently, leading to improved control of bacterial infections.

    The aims of the call are:
  • To support translational research projects that combine innovative approaches (basic, clinical, industrial) in the field of Nanomedicine and;
  • To encourage and enable transnational collaboration between public and private research groups from academia (research teams from universities, higher education institutions, public research institutions) and clinical/public health research (research teams from hospital/ public health, healthcare settings and other healthcare organizations) or research teams from industrial enterprises (all size). The Horizon 2020 societal challenge of ‘health, demographic change and wellbeing’ (SC1) for the years 2014 and 2015 includes 34 topics in the ‘personalising health and care’ focus area call (15 in 2014 only, 17 in 2015 only and 2 which are open in both years).
    The personalising health and care call aims to create opportunities for real breakthrough research and radical innovation, by supporting the translation of findings into the clinic and other health and care settings to improve health outcomes, reduce health inequalities and to promote active and healthy ageing.
