INNOVATIVE MEDICINES INITIATIVE
IMI is a partnership between the European Union and the European pharmaceutical industry, represented by the European Federation of Pharmaceutical Industries and Associations (EFPIA).
The goal of the Innovative Medicines Initiative 2 (IMI 2) is to develop next generation vaccines, medicines and treatments, such as new antibiotics. It will build on the successes and lessons learnt under IMI. Like IMI, it will bring together companies, universities, public laboratories, innovative small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs), patient groups and regulators in collaborative projects that will pave the way for breakthrough vaccines, medicines and treatments to tackle Europe’s growing health challenges, and secure the future international competitiveness of Europe’s pharmaceutical industry.

The Brain & Behavior Research Foundation is the largest philanthropic organization dedicated to research across all brain and behavior disorders (not disease specific). ALZHEIMER'S DRUG DISCOVERY FOUNDATION
The Alzheimer's Drug Discovery Foundation (ADDF) funds drug discovery and development research programs in the field of Alzheimer's disease (AD), related dementias and cognitive aging. The ADDF seeks to fill the critical translational funding gap between basic research and later stage drug development by funding promising drug discovery and development programs. In addition to funding academic programs, the ADDF also invests in and creates early stage biotechnology companies. The ADDF also co-sponsors conferences to stimulate new ideas and approaches in areas of interest to the Foundation.

    Reconèixer a les persones que treballen en la investigació d'aquesta malaltia, presentant la cinquena edició dels Premis FEP a la Investigació sobre la Malaltia de Parkinson que, en aquesta edició, premiarà al millor article científic sobre aquesta patologia.
    Aquests premis pretenen potenciar possibles avanços científics que suposin una millora significativa de la qualitat de vida del pacient i de la seva família, fomentar el desenvolupament del coneixement entorn a la malaltia de Parkinson i difondre socialment la realitat d'aquesta afecció neurològica.
